Leadership Level 1 provides valuable insights into coaching and development conversations that motivate your team to achieve shared goals. You will learn how to conduct effective meetings, master development discussions, negotiate salaries confidently, and handle difficult conversations skillfully. We will guide you through the challenges of leading your former colleagues and navigating difficult situations. Upon completing this training, you will have laid the groundwork for developing your leadership skills and excelling in your role.

If you want to be a successful leader, you need to be self-aware and courageous. The course starts with the Leadership Insight analysis, a unique tool that looks at your current leadership style and identifies areas for improvement to help you, your team and your organisation move forward. Framfot Corporate Training developed the analysis, which is based on well-established, scientifically proven leadership research.

You’ll get access to your personal analysis as soon as you book, and you’ll get your unique results — your leadership profile — once you’ve finished the analysis.

The Leadership Insight will help you work out what you’re good at and what you need to improve as a manager and leader. You’ll find this info really useful throughout the course. In the Competence Portal, you’ll also do a needs analysis and set goals for your development. This gives us a great foundation to customise the course to your needs and follow up with you — two key parts of making real change.

Ledarskap nivå 1 – Ny som chef

 

Through a combination of knowledge-based modules and practical exercises, you will learn:

  • Delegation: when, what and how to delegate, and how to follow up.
  • Adapting your leadership style to the needs of your group and its individual members.
  • Insight into your main strengths and how to manage what stresses and affects you negatively.
  • How to engage employees with the vision and goals.
  • Holding meetings, performance reviews and salary reviews.
  • How to tackle the challenge of becoming a manager of former colleagues.

You will also:

  • Acquire the skills to establish, track, and successfully attain your objectives by implementing efficient goal-setting techniques.
  • Learn the fundamentals of Swedish labor law (taught by a practicing attorney).
  • Practice effective methods for employee discussions.
  • Create a personal action plan for your ongoing development as a leader.

  • Practical training. Move from knowing to doing through hands‑on exercises with an experienced trainer.

     

  • Small groups. Strong individual focus. Maximum 10 participants per group allow adaptation to needs and valuable exchange of experience.

  • This program is a vital component of our Certified Leadership curriculum.

GO! – Follow‑up, Support and Continued Development

Back to everyday life: confident in your role with new tools

Upon completing the course, you will have laid a solid foundation on which to develop your leadership and managerial skills. You will leave with a personal action plan, including a management plan for the coming year and a vision for your leadership. You will have mastered the key tools of good leadership and know when to use them. With greater self-insight, you will understand how to apply your strengths and what to consider so that you can base your leadership on the right balance of support and clarity according to the needs of your group and situation.

How to sustain your new leadership habits

We know how easy it can be to slip back into old habits when you return to work, especially as a manager when your own tasks can easily consume your time. That is why we support and encourage you throughout the journey like a personal trainer, to help you succeed — for your sake and for your organisation!

  • Diploma.

     

  • Support. We are available for 3 months after completing the course to answer questions and support you.

  • Access to all materials and tools via the Competence Portal for two years.

     

  • Action Buddy. You are paired with a course‑mate to support each other after the course.
